Kelly Wagner- Owner and Stylist

Kelly grew up in South Dakota and moved to Colorado in 1978 when she got married and has been a licensed stylist since 1989.
She says "I will ask lots of questions during the consultation to give you the perfect style or color you are looking for".
"I love doing hair, it has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl, combing my grandpa's 10 hairs that he combed over to cover his little bald head. I still love doing hair after all these years.
Opening Escape Uptown with Stephanie, was a long term dream that we planned and achieved"
When she's not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family in Colorado's beautiful outdoors. |
Stephanie Tackwell - Owner and Stylist

Stephanie is a Colorado native and says "I have been styling hair since 2004 and becoming a hair stylist was my life long goal since I was 4 years old.. so I did ! and LOVE it".
Stephanie has always known this is the career for her and started beauty school while in high school. She was kept busy juggling both her school work as well as working part time in a hair & tanning salon. Since graduating from both high school and beauty school the same year, Stephanie has done everything should could to further her knowledge in this industry. She lives to learn new techniques and styles.
Stephanie's specialties include women's color & cuts, men's cuts and making everyone feel beautiful inside and out. Stephanie is a certified instructor for Escape Uptown's top quality color line "Italy" and echoes Kelly's sentiment about opening Escape Uptown. "It was a dream come true". |
Nikki Dillman - Stylist

Nikki has been a hair stylist since 2006 and loves what she does. She graduated from La James International College of Cosmetology and has studied at the Wella Studio and Bumble & Bumble Institute in New York City. Nikki has attended the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago several times and says " I enjoy attending other beauty shows around the area to stay current with the latest trends for my clients"
Nikki specializes in cuts and colors for women, men, and children. She is also an expert in waxing, manicures and pedicures.
She has worked in salons in Des Moines and Ames Iowa and has now settled in Erie, Colorado! |
Rachel Frazer - Stylist

Rachel has been working as a cosmetologist for 10 years, She enjoys creating custom cuts, color and styles that fit each person's unique personality.
From Connecticut, Rachel completed her cosmetology training with High Honors at "American Academy of Cosmetology" Danbury, Connecticut. After visiting Colorado several times and falling in love with this beautiful state, she decided to make it her home in 2008.
Rachel says " I enjoy staying current with the latest hair trends and techniques and have completed many advanced cut, color and style classes. I want to make every client feel fantastic about their look before they leave my chair".
Like the pretty lady from the TV show "Shear Genius" Rachel says "Hair is Important"

Yesenia Martinez - Stylist

Born and raised in Erie Co, Yesenia considers it a pleasure that she's been able to spend the last 12 years of her professional career, making people look and feel their beautiful best.
She says " I have had the opportunity to be working at the lovely Escape Uptown Salon for the past two years. I am passionate about every aspect in hair design with an artistic eye to detail. I look forward to ongoing education learning the latest trends, styles, and new techniques".
Yesenia provides a variety of services including precision haircutting, coloring, highlighting, waxing, and nail care. |
Lora Roth - Esthetician

Lora, a licensed Esthetician since 2005, brings her talents and specialization in facials, chemical peels and waxing to Escape Uptown Salon & Day Spa. Lora says "my clients's satisfaction is the number one priority, every time"
In order to keep up with the industry trends and ensure clients are receiving the most beneficial treatments she routinely attends trade shows and advanced education clinics. Her depth of knowledge and experience allow her to assess, advise and tailor treatments getting optimal results for each and every client.
Outside of Escape Lora loves to spend time with her husband, daughter and three grandchildren as well as traveling and spending time outdoors... always with plenty of sunscreen! |
Arlene Rowland C.M.T. - Massage Therapist

Arlene, C.M.T., has been a practicing masseuse since 1994.
She is a graduate of Health Choice Center for the Healing Arts in Princeton, New Jersey and has continued her educational studies at the Boulder School of Massage, Upledgers Institute and Integrative Body Works.
Her work involves a multi-modality approach which combines elements of Swedish, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Neuromuscular and Cranial Sacral.
Arlene says " my massage is done with sensitivity.. a soothing, nurturing, relaxing and therapeutic session is given to suit each client's individual's needs".
Arlene worked in the Vail Valley for six years, established a Massage Office in Coal Creek Canyon, and has worked for Escape Uptown since it's conception. |
Tiffanie Janssen - Massage Therapist

Tiffanie has been a practicing massage therapist for 4 years.
She offers a variety of massage styles and complimenting therapies. She specializes in therapeutic massage.
Tiffanie says" I offer 60 - 90minute massage sessions and also provide reflexology and acupressure all in a calming, private secure environment at Escape Uptown's lovely facilities.
My hobbies include belly dancing. As a boulder native I also enjoy camping and hiking in a the mountains!" |
Michelle Martinez - Reception and Customer Care

Michelle is your friendly go-to girl for help, information and customer care at Escape Uptown.
She will work with you to schedule your favorite professional when it works for you or if that isn't possible, she will suggest the best matchfor you, with one of our other professionals and make sure that you're taken care of.
She is absolutely devoted to this salon and it's clients and it shows.
She says "Ask me ANYTHING and if I don't know or can't help, I'll find out"
Her "other life" completely revolves around her family and children's activities, which are numerous and keep her on the run.
